During the special season of Thanksgiving and Christmas, CUB is dedicated to treating the homeless population in our community like family… because they are our family.
The holidays can be lonely for many in our city who find themselves living on the streets. We desire to bring lots of love, laughter, food, and even gifts to the homeless we serve in order to replace that loneliness with joy and Jesus.
“When I serve, I tell myself that I am standing in the gap and serving someone’s father, mother, sister, or brother,” says Amanda Hattman, Kitchen Manager for CUB. Amanda will be busy leading the effort to provide over 300 meals at Thanksgiving and another 300 at Christmas. “It’s organized chaos and lots of fun,” Amanda explains with a grin of satisfaction on her face.
To reach that many people with the love of Christ is no easy task. CUB depends on partners just like you that desire to give back as part of celebrating the holidays. Please take a look below at some of the ways you can help and then click the appropriate button so we can send you more detailed information.
DONATE MONEY. It will require a great deal of funding to bring a smile to the faces of those we serve. Please prayerfully consider your most generous gift during this special season.
